Cataract
Short waiting time for cataract surgery
A cataract is a clouding of the eye’s lens and affects many people from the age of 60–70. Surgery is the only effective treatment, and for most people it gives markedly better vision.
- Outpatient procedure under local anaesthesia with numbing eye drops
- An incision of only 2.2 mm that seals itself without stitches
- More than 98% of operations go without problems
- Many people only need reading glasses afterwards

Understanding staff who listen. You get through quickly on the phone, which is rare with eye doctors, and you get an appointment quickly. Highly recommended.Patient at Aarhus Eye Clinic
I went to an eye doctor for the first time in my life. A fantastic experience. Very helpful staff who saw me straight away. A very polite and pleasant tone, and quick service from both the assistants and the eye doctor I saw.Patient at Aarhus Eye Clinic
I got all the information I could use, and it was explained to me in a way that was easy to understand. Highly recommended 🙏
I can warmly recommend this clinic and ophthalmologist Peter Jeppesen.Patient at Aarhus Eye Clinic
For a very long time I had suffered from red, dry and irritated eyes, which a previous eye doctor had not diagnosed correctly and had therefore also treated incorrectly.
Peter was thorough and pleasant. He explained what he was examining and that these eye symptoms are often linked to atopic eczema, which I have. As a result I got the right treatment, and he immediately gave me a new appointment in a month for follow-up and further examination of, for example, my tear production.
